I
hooked my sprayer up to the battery on my lawn tractor,
but it doesn’t run. How come? |
| |
Most
Ag Spray 12 volt sprayers have ON-OFF switches on both the
lead wire assembly and the pump. Make sure that both
switches are in the ON position. |

switches are on but it still doesn’t run, now what? |

Can
I put a longer hose on my sprayer? |
| |
In
most cases, yes. With smaller 12 volt pumps you can
go up to 30 feet. With larger 12 volt pumps you can
go up to 50 feet. With gasoline powered pumps you
can go up to 300 feet of 1⁄2 inch hose. |
| 6. |
Can
I run diesel fuel through my 12 volt pump? |
| |
No. The
internal parts of the pump are damaged by the diesel fuel
and your warranty will be voided. |
| 7. |
Can
I spray bleach through my sprayer to clean my siding? |
| |
No. Bleach
is extremely hard on the internal parts of the pump and
the nylon fittings. |
| 8. |
How
come the motor on my 12V pump runs but it doesn’t
pump anything? |
| |
The
check valve has deteriorated and needs to be replaced. |
